Do you want to test your English skills and learn English vocabulary and grammar relevant to news reporting? This is the course for you.
In this course our trainers will guide you through the process of creating a news report in English. Students will learn the fundamental principles of journalism, how to write a news report, ethical considerations for professional journalists, and English grammar and vocabulary specific to news reporting.
Over five weeks you will learn how to write a news article while learning and testing your English in our weekly quizzes. These quizzes will test your English vocabulary and your comprehension of key concepts introduced in each lesson. At the end of the course you will create a news article in English and receive feedback from our teachers. You can see the complete syllabus in English here. This syllabus will give you an indication of the language skills required to complete the course.
This course has been designed for beginner to intermediate English language students and English speaking students who are interested in journalism. The course is offered for free. Students who achieve over 50% in the assessment can receive a certificate for 50,000 MNT.
